Along the 18 kilometres of the winding road that runs along the cape of Formentor, you can enjoy spectacular views of Pollensa bay and the Mediterranean sea. From the sa Creueta Viewpoint, at a height of 232 metres and with panoramic views, you can see the islote del Colomer and the Atalaya del Albercuix. The Albercuix watchtower, located 380 metres above the sea level, is part of the fortified and armed towers system which were built in the island at the end of the 16th and beginning of the 17th centuries. This lighthouse, a true feat of construction given the steep terrain, is the crowning point of a peninsula that offers a perfect balance between nature and art.
