Macià Flowered Campins (Citadel of Menorca, 1990) is a director of cinema and muntadorbeen born to Menorca that lives and works in Barcelona. It is graduated in Mankinds for the University PompeuFabra of Barcelona and has cursat the Màster in the direction and production of documentary cinema to the school of visual arts IPECC, ubicada to the cultural centre Matadero of Madrid. Since the 2013 has worked as a assistant of direction, operator of camera and muntador to two producers, Elsabeth productions and Cicely Films, both with headquarters in Barcelona. His professional experience with these two companies comprises the production of cultural programs for the Television of Catalonia, announcements, vídeoclips and llargmetratges documentary and of fiction. To Menorca, on the one hand, has worked on time in productions for the Television Menorquina, IB3, the Museum Ca Oliver of Brick, the Insular Council or the Film festival of Menorca, go in of others. For other band, since the 2011 has devoted also to impartir several audiovisual workshops in, for example, cinematographic analysis for the programs Young Health to students of secondary, booktrailers for the Network of Libraries of Menorca, new means and social networks for the technicians of youth of the Insular Council, documentary production for adults with the association Cultural Lighthouse and the File of Image and Sound of Menorca or script and direction of short to the workshops of summer of Mèdit. Go in the 2016 and the 2017, with the support of the Majorcan producer The Peripheral, has exerted of director of casting of the film The free life of Frame Recha and has directed the short Surroundings The free life, on the process of creation of the film, rodada entirely to Menorca. After directing four short documentary and multiple experimental pieces, the Macià finds now developing his first llargmetratge as a director: Stone homeland, in phase of post-production. For the realisation of this project has received the scholarship of the Foundation Reynolds and, recently, has taken part in the last meeting of youngsters cineastes of the Festival CPH:DOX in Denmark, Summer DocumentaryLab 2018 of UnionDocs to Brooklyn (New York) and, for last, to the residence for muntadors “EditingRetreat” of the PocanticoCenter, with the support of the RockefellerBrothersFund, also in the United States.
