LADAT Studios is an innovative business initiative born with the aim of promoting research, development and innovation in the field of audiovisual creation, digital animation and visual effects technology. It was created in 2014 with the aim of developing and exploiting the results and knowledge acquired since 1988 by a team of researchers linked to the LADAT Unit of Animation and Audiovisual Technologies of the University of the Balearic Islands. As an audiovisual production company specializing in animation films, LADAT Studios has co-produced two animated short films that are closely linked to Balearic tourism: "The captain of the Rose" and "Chanson d'amour". Another of the areas that LADAT Studios is dedicated to is professional training, teaching the Superior Technician in 3D Animation, Games and Interactive Environments.
