The Favàritx lighthouse is in the Albufera des Grau nature park, which was created in 1995. The landscape resembles nothing else that can be seen on the rest of the island. There is very little vegetation, the soil consists of laminate black slate with steep cliffs, and at times it can look like something from a lunar landscape.
