Cala Mitjana is located at seven kilometres from Ferreries. The beach is the result of a sea inlet (192 metres large at the entrance) which is the origin of a small cove on the right side (west), called Cala Mitjaneta. This coastal corner, virgin and isolated, is characterized by being quite big. The beach has fine-grained white sand, it is surrounded by quite high rocks covered by a thick pine wood and some houses. The water is calm and crystal clear.
