Carlo Cestra Digital Productions has been founded in 2010 in Rome.
Since 2012 it is based in Mahon, Balearic Islands.
We are specialized in 3D reconstruction and animation, creating effective historical, archeological and scientific digital contents and real-time applications. In addition, our compositing department works to support TV and movie productions. Our clients are production companies, documentary producers, museums, archaeological superintendences, animation studios and architectural firms.
During our first year of activity we started an important collaboration with the Superintendence for Archaeological Heritage of Rome and with the Ministry of Culture creating digital content for the Roman National Museum in Rome and the Museum of Roman Ships at Nemi. Since the beginning we also collaborate, as compositing service, with Rainbow-CGI Animation Studio. We participated in the development of animated movies including "WINX Club 3D - magic adventure", "Gladiators of Rome" and "WINX Club - the mystery of the abyss". In 2014 our work about the roman ships of Caligula has been used in a documentary in the series "ANCIENT IMPOSSIBLE" broadcast on the History Channel H2.
