It is an initiative emerged with the goal of vindicating and making visible the work of women in the film industry and is a reinforced commitment to equal opportunities also in the high professional positions within it (only 8% of films produced in recent years in Spain are run by women). Film industry is the ideal tool to promote changes in our society, that is why MUJERES DE CINE and MÈDIT present a sample composed in its entirety by Spanish films directed by women. A sample of the quality and heterogeneity of the proposals and records by our women film directors.
