Son Bou or Platges de Son Bou is situated at eight kilometres from Alaior. This beach belongs to a sea inlet which is the origin of a huge bay, completely open to the sea. It is also characterized by being the longest coastal stretch of Menorca, with 2,4 kilometres in length. The biggest system of dunes and the second most important wetland of the island can be found at the rear, behind s'Albufera des Grau.
