Cala Agulla is 1.8 kilometres from Capdepera. Together with Cala Moltó and Cala Mesquida, in 1991 the Balearic Parliament declared it a Special Protection Area for the conservation of wild birds. As a result, the coastline remains very well preserved, surrounded by a forest with some particularly large pine trees.
